Dropped
Alas, I was dropped by the peleton on the last day. Here are the Sockapalooooza Socks waiting for the sewn bindoff and the after-thought heels. I finished knitting the legs yesterday afternoon, but had to put off the finishing due to social obligations. It’s hard to do the sewn bind off, while drinking a Corona, while playing a meandering game of petanque in the yard.
I almost made it.

Better not to risk any fatal errors with that sewn bindoff!
Corona + a sewn bind off does not sound like a good combo! I think you made the right choice.
