Wildlife
I live within a mile of the geographic center of Boston. In addition to the usual urban wildlife – rats, mice, pigeons, the occasional skunk and raccoon, my neighborhood is home to red tailed hawks, ospreys, wild turkeys, and coyotes. Even bald eagles have been known to stop by for a snack at the Pond. Over the weekend, a new species was spotted in the wilds of JP, alligators!!Pattern: Morehouse Merinos Baby Alligator Scarf Kit
Yarn: Morehouse Merino Sport
Needles: Size 6
Mods and Comments: I added about 5 pattern repeats to the main body section. If I make this again, I’ll modify the bumps in the tail section so that there are three bumps instead of four. I did not enjoy knitting with the yarn, it was splitty, contained lots of VM, and felt very rough pre-blocking bath. The pattern is well written and after a few repeats, it’s easy to memorize.

And it turned out damn cute!
Very cute!
