guess what I did last night

I laughed, and laughed and laughed.
As usual, Mr. Izzard was brilliant. He led us on a wonderful, rambling journey covering the history of the world (via Wikipedia) with raptors in trilby hats, the kamikazi sheep of Sparta, and coughing giraffes. My favorite bit was when he described tapestry weavers as the war correspondents of their day (“We’re going to need more red thread!”).
I need more Eddie Izzard in my life.







To say I am jealous is an understatement. I saw him in 2008. He was fantastic. I would have loved to see him in the garden. Glad you had fun.
