knitting olympics
Today is a good day. First, it’s Friday. Second, it’s Truck Day (that’s the day the Red Sox equipment truck heads down to Ft. Meyers). Third, it’s the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics. Fourth, it’s the start of the Knitting Olympics. I’m an Olympic junkie. I LOVE the Opening Ceremonies. For me it’s like the Red Carpet. What will they be wearing? What was the designer thinking? Damn, that skier is hot.
Tonight I will be on the couch with my yarn cakes and needles ready to cast on for the Lace Pullover from O-Wool. This will be my first top down sweater (my Olympic Challenge).
I’ve barely knit a stitch a year, think I can finish a sweater in 17 days?
