yep, still here
And I’ve even been knitting a bit. Something about the return of the cold weather really gets my knitting mojo going. I’ve finished 3 projects in the last week and am fighting a bad case of startitis.

Noro Kureyon – 3 skeins
US 8 circular
Gauge – 4spi
Pattern – my own recipe
Cast on 52 (I used the cable cast on for stretchiness). Work in Welt Pattern for approximatelty 9″. (I ended up with 17 welts on the right side.) Knit one round. Continue in K2 P2 rib for 3″. Bind off using your favorite stretchy bind off method. (I went with K2togTBL and slip stitch back to left needle.)

I have very athletic (a-hem) calves, it is likely that you will be able to get away with casting on fewer stitches. Any multiple of 4 will be fine.
