Extra, extra! Read all about it!

Samus JAMAICA PLAIN, MA  — The Kat Knitting Olympic Committee (KKOC) is proud to announce that Samus and Tintagel are teaming up for the 2006 Knitting Olympics.

“This a great day for wool,” said Tintagel.  “I’m thrilled to be named an Olympic yarn and thrilled to be paired with Samus.”

A KKOC spokesperson stated, “Tintagel is deserving of this honor.  She has been marinating in the stash for over a year and we feel that she and Samus make a winning combination.”

Tintagel is 1400 yards of 50% mohair, 50% wool in a warm Bronze color.  Samus hails from the Fall 2005 issue of Knitty.
