Crackberry Preserves

We qualified for the Tournament of Champions, woo hoo!  Cp
(Like our team photo?  We’re all a bit camera shy.)

Interesting tidbits learned at trivia last night

  • three under par on a golf hole is known as an Albatross.
  • "Jesus wept." is the shortest verse in the Bible.
  • Neil Diamond wrote the top hits for UB40 (Red Red Wine) and Urge Overkill (Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon).
  • Nebraska is the only state with a unicameral legislature
  • By knitting around and around and around on the Trekking socks during the course of the game, one does, eventually, make some progress.  I actually think the yarn ball got smaller that night.

Today’s visual entertainment brought to you by YouTube.  (Safe for work)

  1. Congrats on the qualifying!

  2. I knew about Jesus Wept and Neil Diamond. Not the other stuff, though.

  3. Congrats! I did NOT know that about Neil Diamond… He’s good at writing those brain virus songs, isn’t he?
