Wacky Wednesday

Here are this week’s items:

  • Had too much to drink at a bar in New Jersey? Worried about DUI? Don’t. Just make sure your vehicle of choice is a Zamboni.
  • Trippy. A great collection of fashion “Don’t’s” from 1968 set to music. I believe the lead singer is wearing the original inspiration for Seinfeld’s ‘puffy shirt’.
  • In Massachusetts, “tomatoes may not be used in the production of clam chowder”. What Dumb Laws are there in your state?
  • Only two more days until the long weekend.  Anyone have any fun plans?  My plan is to hunt dust bunnies, clean the condo, and rearrange the furniture.  Aren’t you jealous?

    1. OMG. Hockey is almost here too! Hee. And, I remember my brother wearing clothes like that, for a while, then he woke up and got better.

Going to Tampa to see the out-laws. Much knitting will ensue. Have a wonderful holiday!

    2. I’m taking Friday off to go to the MN State Fair with visitors from overseas. 🙂

    3. Funny… sounds like my weekend plans, except to change dustbunnies to lofty lilting lumps of cat hair.
Gee we sure know how to have a good time.

    4. uuuuuurgh. Yah, your weekend plans sound like mine, too. Big balls of dog hair, cat hair, AND dust – yum.

Except I did get to ART last night. Day spent vacuuming with a broken vacuum cleaner and doing the bathrooms. My kids are having a marathon Invader Zim party, so they did a bunch of the clenaing themselves – yay! ah, the joys of them being old enough for that!

Well, and we’re going to a cookout at my mom’s. Then another one on Monday at my friend’s house (WAY shorter drive).
