Wacky Wednesday

This week’s items:

  • one sentence. Can you tell a story in one sentence?
  • Reason number 2,347 why I like living in JP – not only is JP the home to the Sam Adams Brewery, but the sport of belt sander racing originated in the brewery complex.
  • Beware the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide!

Barbie Pink still isn’t complete.  The skein remnant has a suprising amount of yardage in it.  I thought I’d get another 4-6 rows out of it max, but I am on the seventh row and it’s not getting any smaller.  The Yarn Goddess is a fickle mistress indeed.

For those in the Boston area, this weekend is JP Open Studios.  This a great event that I make an effort to attend every year.  Once again, the weather is supposed to be wonderful so come on out and enjoy the art exploration!  I’ll be zipping around on my bicycle on Saturday afternoon and most of Sunday.  If you only have a few hours, The Brewery Complex and the area around the Monument are where you should focus your attention.  Make sure you stop by the Footlights Club and check out the paintings by my friend and neighbor, Pauline Dowell.  She’s got some great sheep paintings available.  Hope to see you there!
