Year of the Ox

The new year dawned bright and cold here in Boston. I’m spending the morning clearing out clutter, setting a stew to simmer in the crock pot, doing a bit of laundry, and trying to find my always missing cell phone charger (why is it always missing?). In the afternoon I will join some friends for the annual penitential pilgrimage. (That’s just a fancy way of saying ‘let’s go for a long walk around the ponds of JP and stop in a few watering holes along the way.’)

Enjoy!

  2. Happy New Year! We’re eating collards and blackeyed peas and stewed tomatoes and cornbread in true Southern style. 🙂

  3. That sounds like a great way to start off the year!
