it was worth the wait for the light

Pattern: Chickadee Cowl from Through the Loops
Yarn: Artyarns Supermerino (1 skein)
Needles: US 5
Ravelry details here.

Such a quick knit. I knit one for myself on a trip to St. Louis earlier this year, but sadly lost it on a trip to Indiana. I love that it knits up into a thin, but dense cowl. My hard core winter coat doesn’t allow for a bulky neck layer, so this is a welcome addition to the winter wardrobe. Now I can enjoy the warmth of wool without the bulk of a scarf.

Next up, a finished sweater!

  1. Aw, Java, so patient! So long-suffering…

  2. Great knit! I’m so glad you’re getting your camera mojo back. Love your photos the last few posts.
